We believe in a long term relationship and, most importantly, keeping you happy – we at Future Consulting understand how frustrating a poorly performing and unreliable IT system can be and we want to relieve you of that burden. We do not employ sales staff and all consultants are MCSA or MCSE qualified with at least 5 years experience managing systems in the SME market.
We offer several types of support services:-
For a monthly fee we will guarantee response to any and all problems on your site
For our occasional customers this is our most popular support method. When a non urgent problem or a non critical installation is required our Pay As You Go Support charge rate is the most cost effective and least disruptive option. All work is performed Out of Hours to avoid disturbance and all work is carried out by qualified technicians.
To log a Pay As You Go Support call please complete our form and one of our qualified Technicians will call you back to book an Engineer.
- The Pay As You Go Support is ad hoc and charged at a flat rate of £50 per hour, per Support Engineer (if the job requires more than one engineer).
- No contract to sign, no tie-ins at all.
- This rate is charged by the minute (minimum charge of 15 mins) and covers all work from the simplest of workstation issues to the most complex multi server work.
- You are guaranteed an MCP qualified (or better) Engineer working on your problem.
- All Pay As You Go work is done Out of Hours and on a First Come, First Served basis.
- Pay As You Go covers remote or onsite work. Onsite work carries a flat rate £30 call out fee for all clients within 10 miles of the Manchester M60 ring road - any work further afield will incur a £30 per hour travel cost to and from site.

Pay As You Go Rapid Response Support
For our occasional customers with an urgent problem or a critical installation requirement please call our PAYG Rapid Response team. We will guarantee same day response or next day response based on your requirements. Please see charge rates below.
- The Pay As You Go Rapid Response Support option is ad hoc and charged at a response, and problem dependant rate.
- No contract to sign; no tie-ins at all.
Rates are charged by the minute (min charge 15 mins) and covers all work from the simplest of workstation issues to the most complex multi server work. - You are guaranteed an MCP qualified (or better) Engineer working on your problem for Engineering issues, an MCSA qualified (or better) Engineer working on your problem for Engineering Consultancy level issues and an MCSE qualified (or better) Engineer working on your problem for Consultancy level issues.
- All Pay As You Go rapid response work is done during standard office hours. For booked, urgent Out of Hours work please add on 25% to the standard charge rates.

Off Site IT Department Maintenance Contract
This option is for our customers in need of an in house IT department but who simply do not want to foot the significant costs involved. An IT Department Facilities Management Contract will give you all the benefits of running your own IT department (detailed maintenance, proactive work, rapid response to issues, familiarity with your staff and your system and full asset management) with none of the pitfalls (illness, loss of knowledge from staff changes, lack of knowledge and experience from limited IT staff and a wage bill of £30,000+ for each member of staff).
For proactive piece of mind and for continuous involvement with your system including daily monitoring, expert consultancy and the personal touch, this is the perfect option.
You will be assigned 3 members of our staff, one for each level of expertise, to always be your main contacts. This will include a MCP qualified Engineer for workstation level issues, a MCSA qualified Engineering Consultant for Server and more complicated issues and an MCSE qualified Site Manager to be your permanent consultant and Network Manager. You will also have the support of other Qualified Microsoft staff in case of emergencies.
We will monitor your system each day to check on backups, antivirus status, server and software health, system resources and day to day maintenance including applying updates, clearing logs and issues and proactively fixing potential issues.
All new IT Department Contact customers benefit from a free detailed system assessment and consultancy report which will include a breakdown of your current IT system, any recommendations and changes that will need to be made, a plan of implementation and a clear breakdown of costs and options.
The regular costs involved for an IT Department Contract are based entirely on what your system includes and what involvement you want, but a typical affordable example is below:
Guaranteed 4 Hour Response for 1 Server, 1 Router, 1 Switch and Next Business Day response to all other issues:
£95.00 per month
Daily Basic System Monitoring:
£ 50.00 per month
Total £145.00 per month.
